About him
Diagnosed with Cancer in 2021, I'm pleased to say that I'm still in remission, although I now have a permanent stoma due to having the cancer removed.
According to my friends, I'm the loudest one in the room, always up for a laugh and happy to give anything a go at least once.
Being self-employed, I think I have the right work life balance, always looking for an excuse to get on the golf course or away on holiday. I love a night out, trip to the theatre and especially a meal out with good company.

Mike is a warm, loyal, kind, caring and funny mate -- and he has been for the last 45 years. Always upbeat and cheery, Mike knows better than most how to look on the bright side of life. The last few years have tested him more than most, but he has never been one to feel sorry for himself. Better known as [@], thanks to his shit cockney accent, our mate is genuinely amusing and can laugh at himself just as much as we laugh at him! What he lacks on the dance floor (energy is not the issue), he more than makes up for with great chat, poor jokes and genuine warmth. [@] genuinely cares about people. He will regularly check in for a catch-up, he always gives more than he takes and is always happy to speak openly and honestly, telling it just as he sees it!
[@] is a grafter too, always sniffing out opportunities and hustling. Having worked his way through every level of his industry, he's now reaping the rewards of years of hard work and determination. Mike wants a good time wherever he is. He loves a beer, wants to travel, enjoy the finer things in life and grab everything that life has to offer. And why wouldn't he?
Through all his treatment, Mike has never dwelled on his situation and would never ask, "Why me?" He accepts what life throws at him and cracks on regardless. His positivity, kindness, generosity and ability to keep looking forward makes him the best of us!
