Love being with my dogs and children, though my 17 year old son plays rugby most of the time and my daughter has flown the nest for a few months at least.
I was brought up in Northumberland and now live in Dorset so while I like the city, I've never managed to stay there for long. Favourite places are wild swimming anywhere and any time, and being in the mountains, preferably snow covered. Not expecting anyone to join me swimming as I like it cold, but just thought I'd share my need for it as I may insist on stopping the car to have a dip....
