About her
Told am always glamorous but in day to day life I’d say I’m mostly scruffy and natural looking - in jeans or sportswear. Hence the profile picture - the reality (no filter or make up, tired but happy after a long and fun filled summer) back at the kitchen table.
Love being at home having spent last couple of years nesting. Also love the city I live in and countryside around - walks, pubs, going to the market and finding ingredients to cook new recipes at home are all favourite things when here.
Head down to the coast a few times a week. That’s my grown up playground - boats, SUP, sunrise runs by the beach, yoga, sea dips and saunas. Travelled a lot when younger and been on some amazing adventures so content to enjoy a quieter life now while the kids are in their last years at home.
Post divorce 2022 (separated 2017) have had plenty of time to build life v2 - a few close friends, lots more to run, sea dip, tennis and hike with, two cool and occasionally still cuddly teenagers, good family and a full and happy life.
Personality wise: laidback, warm, genuine, funny, kind and very loyal. A half full and positive outlook. I find joy in the simple things - sunrises, views of the horizon, laughter, even running (once it’s over).

First and foremost - what I don’t want!
I have a full life with things I love to do and also things I have to do. But for someone special will not hesitate to make time once I know there’s a mutual connection and attraction established! The initial time where it is necessary to date and establish it’s something special - I’ll be honest - while I get it’s really exciting am not willing to drastically alter or drop my weekly routine! Especially for anyone recently divorced or widowed. Sounds harsh? Maybe but I’ve learnt from experience (x3) and definitely don’t want to be and can’t be a replacement for friends and a social life…so if that’s you or you live over 30 miles away (or 90 mins by train), I probably won’t reply. Sorry to be so blunt but probably best all round and good luck!
The rest, I’ll know when I meet him! Don’t want to make a list, don’t have one. Under 55 would be preferable as I’m looking long term. 🫶
