I'm interested in other peoples lives and still work part time as a family therapist/teacher. I've travelled fairly widely for work. I prefer being outdoors to indoors and have various unusual outdoor sports I engage in. I'm left of centre politically and prefer cats to dogs. I'm slim, healthy and fit and planning various holidays for next year.

I've known Mark for about about 8 years. The first thing I noticed about him was his energy. He has masses of it. You need to be fit to keep up with him, with all his activities, and his quick mind, but you'll never have a dull moment in his company.
The most important thing I feel to say about him though is that he really IS interested in people, he doesn't just say it. He will ask you all about your family and remember their names and ask you about them when he sees you again. Conversation is quick and flows with him, but hear this folks, HE LISTENS, he really does listen, he's the only man that I know that does. A very rare quality.
I'm supposed to say something funny here, let me think. Well I thought it was hilarious anyway, the second time I met him, we were at the top of a quite steep hill somewhere around Bodmin Moor, and he stopped the car, got out, and taking a skateboard out of the boot proceeded to skateboard down the hill with me following, driving his car. I wasn't exactly expecting that. I think he thought that was quite normal.
He's a lovely, funny and loyal friend.
